Trevor Lawrence Limited With Ankle Injury
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice after suffering a low ankle sprain in the Week 9 win over the Buffalo Bills. The No. 1 overall pick was able to return to the game, so the 22-year-old should be able to play in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts unless he suffers a setback before Sunday. Lawrence hasn't been terrible in his first NFL season through eight games, but he hasn't been great, either. The 22-year-old completed just 15 passes on only 26 attempts for 118 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions last week. He has just two 300-yard games (one came in Week 1) and an 8:9 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Lawrence could surprise against a Colts defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs this year, but he'll still be a low-end QB2 this weekend.
