1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner is starting at shortstop and batting eighth in the lineup on Thursday against right-hander Johnny Cueto and the Miami Marlins in the series finale. Due to his struggles at the plate, Turner continues to fall further down the team's batting order. The 30-year-old has been one of the biggest busts in fantasy this year so far, considering he was drafted in the top three picks in most leagues. Since July 19, Turner has gone 7-for-53 (.132) with no home runs or RBI, two doubles, a triple, 14 strikeouts, no stolen bases and six runs scored in 13 games played. Turner could pick it up at any moment, but he hasn't shown signs of coming out of his season-long slump of late.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
