Tony Gonsolin Transferred to the 60-Day Injured List
Jack Little and optioned Emmet Sheehan. To make room on the roster, the Dodgers transferred Tony Gonsolin to the 60-day injured list, the Los Angeles Dodgers team reports. Gonsolin was placed on the injured list on June 7 due to right elbow soreness. Further imaging showed that his UCL was intact, but the move means he will now be sidelined until at least August 7. It's also been reported that Gonsolin has yet to resume throwing or picking up a baseball, so things don't seem to be heading in the right direction for him. Before the injury, Gonsolin had a 5.00 ERA in 36 innings pitched. With the transfer news and Gonsolin not resuming any baseball activities, he can be dropped in redraft leagues.
