Tim Anderson's Appeal Scheduled For Thursday
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson's appeal of his six-game suspension is scheduled to be heard on Thursday, unless Anderson reaches a settlement on Wednesday. Anderson is also dealing with a stiff neck, which kept him out of Tuesday's contest. Even if Anderson is able to return to the game on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs, he's probably going to miss some games in the near future due to the suspension. The White Sox open a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies on the road, starting on Friday. Elvis Andrus should fill in at the 6 for however many games Anderson ends up missing for his suspension. Anderson has been a massive disappointment in fantasy in 2023 with a .240 average, just one home run and 11 stolen bases in 367 at-bats, although he's been better of late.
