Terrel Bernard Carted Off Against Steelers
11 months agoBuffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard (leg) was taken off the field in the third quarter on a cart during Monday's wild-card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a cast on his lower right leg and a towel over his head. Dorian Williams replaced Bernard after he left. In addition to Bernard, the Bills also lost cornerback Christian Benford to a knee injury earlier in this game and can ill-afford any more injuries on that side of the ball. The 24-year-old Bernard was a key player on defense all year for Buffalo, so it would be bad news for their defense moving forward if they advance past the Steelers to play in the Divisional Round. Bernard's injury didn't look good. We'd be surprised if he comes back into this game, let alone for the rest of the postseason.
