Taylor Ward Passes Concussion Protocols
Taylor Ward (head) was removed from Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics after colliding with the outfield wall while making a catch. He has passed through the league's concussion protocols. Ward described his injury in Friday's game as a "stinger." According to Angels beat writer Rhett Bollinger, there's a chance Ward could be available to play in Saturday's game. The Angels haven't announced their lineup for Saturday as of this writing. It's likely that Ward will not be included in the starting lineup, but it certainly sounds like he won't be missing much time at all.
