According to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News, Buffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson (concussion) skated on his own Wednesday morning but is still in concussion protocol. Head coach Lindy Ruff said that Thompson "feels good" but would still need to pass through the protocol to return to action. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators. The 27-year-old sat out during their contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday evening. Before his injury, Thompson tallied an impressive 14 points (seven goals and seven helpers) over his last nine contests. If Thompson were to miss his second straight contest, fantasy managers should expect Isak Rosen to continue to have a role on the top line.--Andy Smith
