Seth Brown Placed on Injured List

Athletics outfielder Seth Brown (elbow) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Brown has missed the last four games with this lingering elbow issue. The A's have finally decided to place him on the shelf because the injury wasn't getting better. Brown has struggled with the bat this season, so he's already not worth rostering in most fantasy formats. He'll likely play a part-time role on the team once he's cleared to return. In a corresponding move, third baseman Gio Urshela (hamstring) has been activated off the injured list on Tuesday.--Andy Webb
