Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Monahan (wrist) was placed on Injured Reserve on Thursday. He injured his wrist in Tuesday's clash against Pittsburgh and will now be ineligible for at least three games, starting with Thursday's matchup against Seattle. Monahan has reignited his NHL career in Columbus, averaging a point per game through 41 outings, with 14 goals and 27 assists posted. Adam Fantilli, who finished Tuesday's contest with a goal and an assist, might get an extended look in the top six with Monahan out. Cole Sillinger (illness) may also miss Thursday's game, meaning the Blue Jackets' top six could have a very different look against the Kraken.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
