Sam Burns won the WGC-Dell Match Play a few weeks ago. Only a badly timed third round 78 kept the American golfer from truly contending at The Masters. Still, Burns finished tied for 29th. He ranks ninth in strokes gained from putting at 0.719. His only weakness is approach to the green but that was close to even throughout most of last weekend. Burns must cut down on his bogeys or worse. He does rank 25th in birdie average at 4.19 per round. The key for Burns is putting four rounds together. Burns did it five years ago on the way to a ninth in South Carolina. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
