The New Orleans Saints declined the fifth-year option on cornerback Eli Apple ahead of the deadline on Friday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. The former 10th overall pick of the Giants in 2016 started 10 games for New Orleans after being traded over in October of last year. He was the team's No. 2 cornerback and had 52 tackles, two interceptions and nine passes defensed. Apple will have a base salary of $2.5 million in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
