Ryan Preece thrived with the setup on his Stewart-Haas Ford. Preece qualified eighth while finishing near the lead in his heat on Saturday evening. Though he did not lead a single lap of the 15, the No. 41 car showed some solid laps times in the 19.6 and 19.7 second range. With the dirt race at Bristol featuring a good deal of luck, being closer to the front may or may not be a bad thing.
