Rosman Verdugo Snaps Skid At High-A
Rosman Verdugo went 3-for-3 with four runs, a double, two home runs, and three RBI during their contest against High-A West Michigan on Thursday. Entering this contest, Verdugo went 0-for-11 with a 3:2 K:BB over his last three contests. However, prior to this small slump, the No. 24-ranked prospect in the San Diego system was carrying a stellar .326/.356/.581 line with five doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBI over his last 10 contests. Through 33 total games at the High-A level this season, Verdugo has posted a modest .246/.322/.540 slash line. However, it appears the infielder is beginning to turn the corner on his slow start. If Verdugo continues to find his footing at High-A, he should be in the mix to join Double-A in the coming months.
