Romeo Doubs Ruled Out In Week 12
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs (ankle) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for the Week 12 contest on Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. Doubs hasn't practiced or played since he suffered a right high-ankle sprain on Nov. 6. The 22-year-old is slowly improving, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return in Week 13 against the division-rival Chicago Bears. In Doubs' absence in recent weeks, fellow rookie Christian Watson has stepped up in a big way to the tune of four touchdown receptions in the last two games. Watson, Allen Lazard and veteran slot man Randall Cobb should continue to work as quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top three pass-catchers in a tough matchup in Week 12 against the Eagles defense.
