Rob Gronkowski Doesn't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) didn't practice on Wednesday but was jogging lightly with trainers monitoring him. Gronkowski has a better shot at returning in Week 10 against the Washington Football Team than wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), but head coach Bruce Arians expressed doubt on Tuesday that Gronk would be ready to go this weekend despite having last week's bye to heal up after suffering from back spasms in his return to the lineup in Week 8. The Bucs will likely play it safe with the 32-year-old going forward, so he's not a lock to play this Sunday. If he misses another game, O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate will continue to split the tight end repetitions. Howard has proved to be the better bet as a TE2 sleeper.
