New York Rangers right wing Reilly Smith (roster management) will not be in the lineup on Sunday against the Nashville Predators. He is a candidate to be moved ahead of next week's trade deadline, and the Rangers are protecting their asset by keeping Smith off the ice. Smith is a pending unrestricted free agent and should draw plenty of interest from other teams, having registered 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists) in 58 games this season. The veteran winger is also a proven playoff performer, with 26 goals and 79 points in 106 career postseason games.--Taavi Pailk
