Reilly Smith Exits With Injury
11 months agoPittsburgh Penguins winger Reilly Smith sustained an upper-body injury in Thursday's matchup against Vancouver. The veteran was forced to exit after taking only five shifts and logging 3:08 of ice time. Smith has notched eight goals and 20 points in 40 games this season, but he's gone cold lately, and Thursday marked his sixth consecutive outing without any points. Radim Zohorna will likely fill the open spot in the lineup in a bottom-six role if Smith won't be available for Saturday's meeting with the Hurricanes.
