1 year agoTampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash said that right-hander Tyler Glasnow (back) received an injection in his back and will now be shut down for two days. The team is hoping that Glasnow can return to pitch on Saturday in a plus matchup against the Cleveland Guardians. The 29-year-old was scratched from his last scheduled start on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers with his back injury, but it doesn't appear to be a very serious injury. Glasnow is typically a must-start in fantasy lineups when he toes the rubber, but he'll be extra risky coming off his injury if he makes his next start this weekend. He's dealt with injuries this year but has been solid when healthy, going 5-3 with a strong 3.15 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 96 K's in 68 2/3 innings over his 12 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
