Randy Arozarena Out On Thursday
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Thursday as the team takes on the Arizona Diamondbacks. It's a good time for Arozarena to rest after playing in each of the team's last 21 games, and he had gone hitless in his last three with three strikeouts in 12 plate appearances. The 28-year-old has been a must-start for fantasy managers when he's active this year, though. Arozarena has been a dynamic player for the Rays with a .286 average (80-for-280) with 14 home runs, nine doubles, a triple, 54 RBI, nine stolen bases and 49 runs scored in 79 games. He should be back in there on Friday for the start of a series against the Seattle Mariners. Luke Raley is starting in left field and batting third on Thursday against Diamondbacks right-handed rookie Brandon Pfaadt.
