Randy Arozarena Making Case For Opening Day Roster
5 years agoWhile Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is unlikely to unseat Manuel Margot for a starting spot in the outfield on Opening Day, he is opening eyes with his early spring performance in the Grapefruit League. Arozarena is barreling baseballs frequently at the plate and is showing heads-up baserunning. The team's No. 17 prospect is likely to begin the year at Triple-A Durham so that he can get consistent playing time, but he's not a bad stash at all in dynasty and AL-only leagues. Arozarena should get a chance to contribute in the majors at some point in 2020.
