Raiders Open to Restarting Contract Talks With Josh Jacobs
1 year agoThe Las Vegas Raiders are apparently open to restarting contract talks with running back Josh Jacobs with the hopes of getting him to rejoin the team. Jacobs hasn't signed his franchise tender and is holding out of training camp without a long-term extension this summer. It's also possible that Jacobs will continue his holdout into the regular season, which makes him a risky high-end RB1 selection in fantasy drafts right now, despite the fact that he led the NFL in rushing in 2022. The 25-year-old former first-rounder should be close to a bell-cow back for the Raiders in 2023 if he eventually rejoins the team for the regular season, but his fantasy stock will continue to fall the longer he holds out without a new contract.
