Rafael Devers Dealing with Back Tightness
Rafael Devers (back) is still dealing with some back tightness that will delay his debut at first base until after the All-Star break, reports Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area. While he has third base eligibility in fantasy, he has actually been serving as the full-time designated hitter for the Giants until he is healthy enough to try his hand at first base. While the back issue limits his ability to field and run, he's still able to swing the bat. Since being traded to San Francisco, the 28-year-old is slashing .240/.348/.387 with two home runs in 20 games.
