Rachaad White To See Heavy Workload
1 year agoESPN's Jeremy Fowler writes that Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White is an intriguing fantasy play going into the 2023 season. Tampa's offense values using multiple backs, with Chase Edmonds and Ke'Shawn Vaughn in complementary roles, but it's White's show. He will get a heavy rushing workload, and the team has been expanding his route tree as well, believing he can do damage as a receiver. The Buccaneers see star potential in White as a smooth do-it-all option. The 24-year-old isn't going to be all that attractive to fantasy managers as a player on the RB2/3 borderline after his unimpressive rookie year, but he could be a sleeper at the position if he's more involved as a passer and becomes more efficient on the ground with more volume.
