Patrick Mahomes Says He'll Be Ready For OTAs
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) said that his Grade 2 high-ankle sprain won't affect him being ready for organized team activities this offseason. "The only thing that will take a hit is my golf game," Mahomes said at his Super Bowl MVP press conference after the 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday. The 27-year-old aggravated his right ankle sprain in the second quarter of the big game, but he came out in the second half looking even better on his way to winning his second Super Bowl ring. Mahomes proved again in 2022 that he is the best QB in the NFL, and he'll likely be the first signal-caller off the board in fantasy drafts this fall.
