Pat Freiermuth Has A Chance To Play In Week 17
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) and offensive linemen Kevin Dotson (ankle), Kendrick Green and Trai Turner could all be back in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. Freiermuth suffered a concussion in Week 15 and missed the Week 16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fantasy managers will need to monitor the rookie's practice status this week, but with Pittsburgh's game landing on Monday night this week, Freiermuth will be extra risky if he winds up being a game-time decision. When healthy, the 23-year-old has had a solid first year in the NFL with 49 catches for 422 yards and seven touchdowns as an excellent red-zone weapon for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Zach Gentry caught all four of his targets for 31 yards last Sunday, but he isn't worth streaming in fantasy lineups if Freiermuth misses another game.
