The Carolina Panthers announced on Tuesday that they signed free-agent wide receiver T.J. Luther and waived receiver Moose Muhammad III with an injury designation in a corresponding move. The Panthers will reunite with Luther after waiving him on May 8. The 25-year-old originally went undrafted in 2023 out of Gardner-Webb before eventually signing with the New York Jets. He has yet to appear in an NFL game and will merely be trying to win a 53-man roster spot in training camp this summer. Luther will most likely be on Carolina's practice squad if he sticks around going into the regular season. Muhammad is the son of former Panthers Hall of Honor receiver Muhsin Muhammad. He was an undrafted free agent rookie in this year's class out of Texas A&M and took part in the team's rookie minicamp and voluntary workouts.--Keith Hernandez
