2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz. Gordon missed their last game on Saturday versus Atlanta due to a right-foot strain. When he has missed time, 21-year-old Peyton Watson has posted 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in seven games. Christian Braun may also see more minutes on the court in Gordon's absence, as he started Saturday and logged 25 minutes.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest with the Boston Celtics. The 35-year-old has missed the last three games due to a sprained right ankle, but he will likely make his return to the court on Tuesday. Over his last 14 outings, he's averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. Should the veteran point guard be unable to suit up, his next chance to return comes Wednesday versus the Orlando Magic.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (hip) is now listed as probable for Tuesday's contest against the Celtics. He has been dealing with soreness in his left hip. Lillard is a late addition to the injury report, but the 33-year-old should be good to go for tipoff and he is always a must-start in all fantasy formats. If Lillard cannot suit up, Pat Connaughton and Bobby Portis could grab more minutes of playing time than usual.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoOrlando Magic forward Franz Wagner (ankle) was on the court during shootaround putting up shots ahead of Tuesday's tilt against the Houston Rockets. It renders Wagner closer to probable than questionable with a sprained right ankle for Tuesday's action, but his status could still come down to a game-time decision based on pregame warmups. The 46-32 Magic could choose to exercise caution with the 22-year-old former first-round pick with an eye toward the postseason, considering Wagner also sustained a right ankle sprain back in January. More would be asked of Joe Ingles if Wagner is out against the Rockets, but the veteran marksman has only put up 8.0 points, 4.0 assists. 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 2.0 three-pointers per contest in four games without Wagner this year. Houston is also allowing the fourth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing small forwards.Source: NBA.com
2 weeks agoBoston Celtics centers Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The first-place Celtics will give their two top big men the night off on Tuesday, with their next opportunities to take the court arriving in Thursday’s battle with the New York Knicks. Porzingis is simply having his right hamstring managed, and Horford is nursing a sprained left big toe. With that said, Luke Kornet has averaged 10.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 30.1 minutes over five games as a member of Boston's starting lineup this season and would figure to join the first unit at the five in this one. Kornet should be a chalky DFS value play despite a matchup with a Bucks club allowing the eighth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers.Source: Boston Celtics on X
2 weeks agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Evan Fournier (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Fournier didn't play in Saturday's contest against the New Jersey Nets due to a sore right knee. The 31-year-old French sharpshooter has averaged 4.6 points in 19.0 minutes per game over his last 10 outings. His return won't boost the team's rotation, as Detroit has lost 12 of 13 games.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoWashington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is listed as out for Tuesday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. With nothing to play for at this point, the 15-64 Wizards will keep Kuzma out of action for their third straight game due to his sprained right ankle. His next chance to play comes on Friday when Washington hosts the visiting Chicago Bulls. 2021 first-rounder Corey Kispert is shaping up as a "silly season" hero, providing 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 3.1 three-pointers per game through his last nine contests. Kispert should continue handling heavy minutes from the first unit, but it's a dismal matchup in a game with significant blowout risk against a T-Wolves team that's giving up the fewest DraftKings points to opposing shooting guards.Source: NBA.com
2 weeks agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (calf) is listed as available to play in Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Left calf soreness will not keep Murray out on Tuesday, and the 23-year-old spot-up shooter is in a decent position against a Thunder team that ranks 23rd in three-pointers allowed per game (13.5). Murray's value is more pronounced in nine-category fantasy leagues that are still active, but he's still recording 16.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.9 three-pointers, and 1.7 combined steals plus blocks per game across his latest 13 appearances. Expect him to handle his usual allotment of minutes in Sacramento's starting lineup against OKC.Source: Jason Anderson - The Sacramento Bee
2 weeks agoLos Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (foot) did not warm up with the team during morning shootaround ahead of Tuesday's showdown with the Phoenix Suns. It places some doubt on Harden's status for the first leg of LA's back-to-back set with the Suns after he was dealing with a sore right foot leading into Sunday's narrow home win over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers. If the 34-year-old All-Star ends up missing Tuesday's game, the Clippers' offense would center around Paul George with Kawhi Leonard (knee) already ruled out. Although Phoenix is allowing the sixth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing small forwards, PG-13 would be tough to fade in DFS while averaging 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 3.6 three-pointers over his last 14 appearances.Source: Law Murray - The Athletic
2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams (ankle) was spotted at shootaround ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Sidelined for four consecutive games with a sprained left ankle, Williams is on the right track to return against the Kings on Tuesday. It's worth mentioning Williams was seen at the morning session prior to last Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers before getting ruled out, so sometimes shootaround statuses should be taken with a grain of salt. The 22-year-old two-way rising star is averaging 22.0 points, 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.1 three-pointers, and 2.6 combined steals plus blocks through his last seven games and would be an interesting DFS bet on Tuesday's huge 14-game slate if he is active against Sacramento, who are yielding the ninth-most points (22.0) to opposing small forwards in 2023-24.Source: Joel Lorenzi - The Oklahoman
2 weeks agoMiami Heat guard Terry Rozier (neck) did not go through shootaround, and he said he'll be a game-time decision for Tuesday's tilt versus the Atlanta Hawks. Rozier's absence from the morning session means he's on the wrong side of the questionable designation with neck spasms. If the 30-year-old combo guard is ultimately downgraded to out, head coach Erik Spoelstra could turn to Tyler Herro to fill the void in Miami's starting backcourt at the point. Prior to when Rozier joined the team on Jan. 24, Herro averaged 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and 3.2 three-pointers as the Heat's primary ball handler across his first 24 games of the year. Herro is going to be a strong DFS play whether Rozier is available or not, as the Hawks are allowing the second-most threes (3.4) to opposing point guards this season.Source: Anthony Chiang - Miami Herald
2 weeks agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee), who remains listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, participated in the morning shootaround. The last-place Pistons have no reason to push their franchise cornerstone onto the court, but Cunningham's presence at the session bodes well for his ability to suit up for Detroit despite being listed with left knee injury management on Tuesday. Over his last 11 appearances, the 22-year-old star playmaker is averaging 24.8 points, 7.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 three-pointers. The Sixers are giving up the fifth-fewest points (22.9) and fourth-fewest threes (2.6) to opposing point guards, though.Source: Natalie Kerwin - Bally Sports Detroit
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) will skip a fifth consecutive game on Tuesday versus Denver. He's battling back spasms and will get his next chance to return on Thursday against Houston. Utah is also currently without the services of Walker Kessler (nose), which has given Omer Yurtseven an opportunity to make back-to-back starts. Meanwhile, Darius Bazley and Johnny Juzang have gotten heavy usage off the bench. All three could offer fantasy value on Tuesday, although it's a very tough matchup for the struggling Jazz squad.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest against the Jazz. He's landed on the injury report with right knee tendinopathy. Porter Jr. has missed just one game all season, and it looks like he will be good to go for a favorable matchup. The Jazz have the worst defensive rating in the league, and it's going to be a significant pace-up spot for Denver. Vegas has set the total for the game at 226.0 points, which is one of the highest marks on Tuesday's very busy slate.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) is expected to play against Utah on Tuesday. The team has listed him as probable on the injury report. Murray has just returned from a seven-game absence. He posted 16 points, three rebounds, six assists, and a block in 21 minutes against Atlanta on Saturday after knee inflammation kept him sidelined for a couple of weeks. Murray could see limited action again on Tuesday, but he's in a good spot to make damage. Utah gives up the most assists per 48 minutes to point guards and is currently even more vulnerable on the backcourt due to the absence of defensive specialist Kris Dunn (foot).Source: NBA Injury Report
