The Green Bay Packers continued to clear salary cap space on Saturday ahead of the 2021 season, doing a simple restructure of offensive lineman Billy Turner's contract, according to a source. The move was a straight salary conversion, meaning the Packers are turning Turner's base salary or roster bonus into a signing bonus, which allows the team to prorate the money over the length of the deal. Turner has two years left on a four-year deal. He has a base salary of $4.525 million and a roster bonus of $1 million for 2021. They can create $500,000 in salary cap savings by turning his roster bonus into a signing bonus. The 29-year-old is a versatile member of the offensive line, having played left tackle, right guard and right tackle in the last two seasons for Green Bay.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
