Otto Kemp Hits Home Run No. 14, Posts Third Straight Two-Hit Game
Otto Kemp continued to swing a hot bat at Triple-A. On Tuesday evening against Charlotte, the infielder went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. This was his second home run over his last four games. This was also his third-straight multi-hit contest and fourth-straight contest tallying at least one hit. Through 55 games this season with Lehigh Valley, Kemp has been one of the most productive hitters at the Triple-A level, holding a stellar .324/.417/.616 line with 19 doubles, one triple, 14 home runs, and 10 stolen bases. He received a brief look at Triple-A last season but tallied just nine hits across a 13-game stint. Fantasy managers in 14+ team leagues should continue to view Kemp as a viable stash candidate. If he continues this current pace, he should get the call to Philadelphia early in the second half of the season.
