No Structural Damage For Clyde Edwards-Helaire
3 years agoTests on Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) on Monday showed some swelling but no structural damage, according to a source. His injury isn't season-ending, and he should return to the team shortly. It's excellent news for the Chiefs and Edwards-Helaire's fantasy managers, as it sounds like there's a chance that he'll be available to play in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals. CEH had nine carries for just 24 yards before leaving the game with his injury, but he salvaged his fantasy day with an early rushing touchdown. Darrell Williams and Derrick Gore combined for 23 carries and 98 rushing yards on the day and also added six catches for 91 yards through the air. Williams should be the priority waiver-wire pickup if he's available in your league, but Gore also warrants come consideration in deeper leagues if you have Edwards-Helaire rostered.
