3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday, but head coach Joe Judge also said that he wouldn't rule Barkley out of the Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Barkley is hoping to return this weekend, but the Giants also could be cautious and hold him out one more game with their bye coming next week. The 24-year-old suffered a low ankle sprain in Week 5 and hasn't played since, giving backup Devontae Booker RB2 upside with increased usage. Even if Barkley returns to practice later this week and plays against the Raiders, he'll be a shaky RB1 at risk of having his snaps limited after the long layoff.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
