1 year agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) will not pitch again this year after he had a setback in his recovery last week. He will receive a platelet-rich plasma shot in his shoulder on Friday, which he hopes will take care of the bursitis in his arm without surgery. The 28-year-old wasn't much of an option for owners in mixed leagues this year, as he went 5-6 with a 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in 14 starts. He should be expected to compete for a rotation spot next spring.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
