Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nick Paul missed the end of Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to Carolina with an unspecified injury. Head coach Jon Cooper didn't have any updates after the game on Paul, who took just one shift in the third period. The 27-year-old managed to score his third goal of the campaign before getting injured, and he's now on seven points with 11 games played. Paul never seems to grab the headlines, but he's been skating with the second line and the Lightning are about to lose one of their hottest players, with Paul having extended his point streak to four games Thursday. Vladislav Namestnikov or Ross Colton could land in the top six Saturday against Buffalo if Paul is unavailable.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
