8/1:The New York Yankees have really struggled with the based loaded this past month. Heading into Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Baltimore Orioles, the offense had gone 19 straight plate appearance with the bases loaded without a hit. After Miguel Andujar finally broke that streak in the eighth inning of Wednesday’s game, Neil Walker would step up but would ground into a double play, once again killing any possible rally. While the veteran infielder just wrapped up a strong July that saw him hit .345, his failure at that moment epitomizes how poor the Yankees have been in key run-scoring moments.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
