Miles Sanders Won't Play This Week
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that running back Miles Sanders (hand) will be out in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team, but the team won't place him on Injured Reserve. The Eagles are hoping to have Sanders back this season, but it remains to be seen if he'll be available in the regular season finale in Week 18. The team's lead back broke a bone in his hand in the Week 16 win over the New York Giants and left the stadium in a soft cast. If Sanders can't return again this season, he'll finish 2021 with zero touchdowns, although he has posted two 100-yard performances in his last three games. Jordan Howard suffered a stinger on Sunday, and his availability could also be in question this week, making Boston Scott one of the top waiver-wire priorities heading into fantasy championship matchups this week.
