Mike Yastrzemski Exits Game Tuesday With Sprained Thumb
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (thumb) exited Tuesday's game against the Angels in the fourth inning after spraining his right thumb. Yastrzemski hit his glove hand against the outfield brick wall going for a fly ball and exited the game in the bottom half of the inning. X-rays showed no fractures, per SF Chronicle's Susan Slusser. Yaz has gotten off to a slow start to the season, but it would still be a blow to the Giants and fantasy managers if he were to miss time with an injury. Fantasy managers should be on the lookout for updates in the coming days.
