Mike White Could Make Another Start In Week 10
3 years agoIt sounds as though New York Jets quarterback Mike White (forearm) will make his third career start in Week 10 against the division-rival Buffalo Bills. Head coach Robert Saleh said that it would be "irresponsible" of the team to put rookie first-rounder Zach Wilson (knee) back on the field before he's fully healthy. Wilson is recovering from a PCL sprain, and the Jets aren't going to rush him back. White, who went off for over 400 yards in his first NFL start in Week 8, injured his right forearm and played on just two series last Thursday. As long as the 26-year-old gets through practice fine this week, he's likely to get the start against a tough Bills defense. White would be a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues.
