Mike Glennon Joins The Giants
4 years agoThe New York Giants signed quarterback Mike Glennon to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Glennon will join the team as the direct backup to Daniel Jones, replacing Colt McCoy, who is a free agent. The 31-year-old Glennon spent the 2020 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, starting five games and throwing for 1,072 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. The Giants will be his sixth team in the last six years, as Glennon has also played for the Buccaneers, Bears, Cardinals and Raiders. He's thrown for 6,235 yards with 43 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in 34 career games, but he's won just six of his 27 starts in the NFL. Unless Jones is injured and misses time, Glennon will be a fantasy afterthought.
