Buffalo Bills defensive end Michael Hoecht (Achilles) suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Sunday's 28-21 win over the visiting Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Hoecht will end up playing in just two games in 2025 in his first year with the team after missing the first six games of the year while on suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. In his two games played for the Bills, the 28-year-old pass-rusher had five tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. It's a big blow to Buffalo's pass rush the rest of the way, and the Bills will be looking for more contributions from A.J. Epenesa and Javon Solomon next to starting pass-rushers Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau.--Keith Hernandez
