Michael Brantley Hitting Well Since His Return
Michael Brantley is slashing .509/.565/.727 (28-for-55) with nine extra-base hits and 15 RBI in 14 games since he returned from the injured list from his hamstring injury. Brantley's .356 average leads all of baseball right now. The 34-year-old veteran only has four home runs, but he's never been much of a power guy -- he's never hit more than 22 home runs in a single season. Fantasy managers have always been more concerned with the high average that he can provide because of how much consistent contact he makes. And in a strong Houston offense while batting in front of productive first baseman Yuli Gurriel, Brantley is producing at a high level yet again. He should be in all fantasy lineups on Thursday against Detroit Tigers right-hander Jose Urena.
