Mets Ink Cam Robinson To Minor-League Deal
1 year agoThe New York Mets have signed relief pitcher Cam Robinson to a minor-league deal with an invite to spring training. The 24-year-old has yet to reach the big leagues and has spent his entire professional career in the Milwaukee Brewers organization prior to joining the Mets. He split the 2023 campaign between Double-A and Triple-A but struggled to a 5.06 ERA across 41 Double-A outings, despite notching 15 saves, and posted an inferior 6.75 ERA across eight innings at the Triple-A level. In 175 career minor-league outings, all but 13 of which have been out of the bullpen, Robinson owns a 4.97 ERA with 295 strikeouts against 158 walks in 248 1/3 innings pitched.
