Max Muncy Starting to Feel Better, Doing Rotational Work
Max Muncy (oblique) is starting to feel better and will do rotational work on Monday, reports Sonja Chen of MLB.com. He was recently placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique that he sustained early last week. It was unfortunate timing for the veteran, who had just returned from the injured list on August 4 after recovering from a bone bruise in his knee. The 34-year-old has put up an excellent .389 on-base percentage with 17 home runs in 89 games this season, but this oblique injury is expected to sideline him for longer than the minimum stay. Expect a clearer timetable to be released after he progresses further in his recovery.
