Buffalo Sabres forward Matthew Savoie is expected to make his NHL debut on Friday at home against the Minnesota Wild. The rookie appears to be in a nice position for early success as he has practiced with Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner on the team's top line over the last two days while even getting reps on the top power-play unit. The ninth overall pick of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft has recorded two goals and five points in six games with the AHL's Rochester Americans before his NHL promotion. Additionally, he tallied 73 goals and 185 points across 127 games with the WHL's Winnipeg Ice in his final two seasons in junior. Savoie makes for a nice DFS streaming option this week but will likely lose his top-line spot when Alex Tuch (day-to-day) returns to the lineup.--Brenton Kemp
