Martin Perez Picks Up Rain-Shortened Win
4 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Martin Perez won Friday night's rain-shortened game against the Miami Marlins after throwing five innings of two-run ball. He allowed five hits and somehow walked none despite the difficult conditions. He also registered four strikeouts. Perez has been very solid this year and sits in the wide tier of streamable starters for fantasy with his 3.55 ERA and 1.28 WHIP.
