Marquise Goodwin Reverts Back To 49ers
4 years agoWide receiver Marquise Goodwin reverted back to the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday after terms of the 2020 trade with the Philadelphia Eagles were not met. San Fran sent Goodwin and a sixth-round pick (210 overall) to the Eagles last year in exchange for the Eagles sixth-round pick (190 overall), which they used to select tight end Charlie Woerner. The 49ers must send their seventh-round pick in next month's draft to Philadelphia, leaving them with nine total selections. Goodwin opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19. He's currently on the Niners roster, but they are expected to release him shortly. In his last full season in 2019, the 30-year-old had 12 receptions for 186 yards and one touchdown in nine games (six starts).
