Marlon Humphrey Could Miss a Few Weeks With Finger Injury
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday that cornerback Marlon Humphrey (finger) could need surgery on his finger, which would sideline him for a week or two, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. The 29-year-old slot cornerback suffered the finger injury in Sunday's Week 10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. If Humphrey is forced to go under the knife, he'll be forced to miss this weekend's divisional game against the Cleveland Browns and probably the Week 12 game against the New York Jets as well. It's bad news for a Ravens defense that has gotten healthier in recent weeks after a tough start to the year, but the good news is Humphrey won't miss much time either way. In his ninth year with the Ravens, Humphrey has recorded 33 tackles (26 solo), an interception, five pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in his eight starts.
