New York Mets third baseman Mark Vientos is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. This is interesting after Bob Nightengale reported Vientos could be a possible trade candidate in a deal to acquire Luis Robert Jr. from the Chicago White Sox. This could be a routine rest day or possibly the trade talk is heating up. It's worth noting that Robert is serving as the designated hitter against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. Vientos has struggled with the bat this season, so maybe a change of scenery could help him. Ronny Mauricio will cover third base and bat ninth versus left-hander Matt Gage on Sunday.--Andy Webb
