Luis Pena Goes Deep in High-A Debut
Luis Pena went 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk during his High-A debut on Tuesday evening. Pena earned the promotion to High-A alongside fellow top prospect Jesus Made. Earlier in the season at Low-A, Pena flashed immense upside and is already making an impact at High-A. Through 71 games at Low-A Carolina, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system on MLB.com posted an impressive .307/.374/.470 slash line with an .844 OPS. He went deep six times and added 14 doubles and swiped 40 bags. Despite only being 18 years old, Pena is quickly ascending prospect boards and is making a strong case to join the top-25 on MLB.com later this summer. He remains a top stash in dynasty formats despite being several seasons away from his MLB debut.
