Logan Evans Recalled and Starting on Tuesday
Logan Evans from Triple-A Tacoma and to start on Tuesday on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks with right-hander Bryce Miller (elbow) going back on the injured list. Right-hander Bryan Woo will be pushed back to Wednesday. This will be Evans' sixth start of his first year in the big leagues. The 24-year-old, who is considered the team's No. 10 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has struck out only 25 hitters in 35 innings of work in his six starts, but he's only allowed 11 earned runs and walked 10 while going 3-1. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to stick around in Seattle's starting rotation beyond one start, though, with Logan Gilbert (elbow) potentially returning from the IL next week. Evans will be a pretty risky fantasy streamer on Tuesday night against a strong D-backs offense.
