Kyle Seager Pops Third Homer Of The Season
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager found the bleachers in the team's 12-3 loss to the Angels Saturday night. He finished the game going 1-for-4 with a solo homer as he now has three on his young season to go along with four RBI and a .211 batting average. The 31-year-old journeyman missed the first two months of the season with a hand injury, but it appears it hasn't had a lingering effect on him in terms of power. Seager has been one of the more consistent players over the last decade maintaining an average in the mid .200s with ~25 HR a season. He should remain an asset in deep mixed and AL-only leagues as a corner infield option.
